- The fishing of the lake is managed by Gougane Barra Angling Club which was set up in the early nineties. The aim of the Angling Club is to promote fishing, and organise competitions annually which will help people to enjoy this natural environment.
- Boats, life-jackets and any fishing information will be available to you when you stay with us. As residents, the use of boats and the fishing permit are complimentary.
- Daily permits are available at the Gift Shop, next door, for non residents and are priced at €10.00 per person and per day.
- You can keep the fish you catch (though there is a size limit to respect)
- The season is open from March 17th to October 12th.
