Food & Wine


Food and Wine are a big part of what we enjoy in Gougane Barra.
 
Katy has responsibility for the food, it is her passion. We buy most of our food locally, the less distance it has to travel the better for us and for you. We live in an area with a huge amount of small producers, making great products which are a pleasure to use in our dishes.
Our menus are planned with the seasons and change according to what is available.
 
Neil developed an interest in wines when he was training in France and has responsibility for our wine list. Working closely with Searsons Wine Merchants in Dublin we have developed an interesting fun and well-priced wine list which we hope you will enjoy. Neil is also happy to give advise on matching a wine with your dish or recommending something for a special moment.
