Katy will demonstrate using local, seasonal food overlooking Gougane Barra Lake. Katy enjoys sharing her love of cooking and will be happy to welcome you to our first series of Cooking by the Lake.
Each Friday has a basic cooking theme:
2nd June - Fish
7th July- Meat
4th August - Vegetarian
1st September - Baking
Cooking demonstration: 11am-1pm
Please arrive at 10.45am
Lunch: 1pm in the restaurant
The package includes the cookery demonstration and a light lunch (Salad or Soup; Main Course; Dessert) in Gougane Barra Hotel, featuring food cooked during the demonstration. Guests will also receive a copy of our recipes used on the day.
Optional: following lunch, we suggest you go to the local Farmer Market in Bantry town, to treat yourself to some of the local West Cork foods we used here, so you can reproduce the recipes in your own kitchen.
