The hotel restaurant is blessed with an incredible view of the lake and St. Finbarr’s Oratory on the island, and, it is here that breakfast and evening dinner is served, enjoying the ever changing light in the valley.


Day Time Food is served in the Hotel’s little bar and sitting rooms, every day except Sunday, when traditional Sunday lunch is served, in the restaurant.
The bar menu is informal and a la carte, maybe you would like a pear and almond scone with jam and cream, homemade soup or chowder, Dingle Bay Smoked Salmon and prawns with honey dressing, a warm chicken salad with roast pine nuts, or a fresh fish of the day, the choice is interesting and varied. Home-baking is a big part of our family run hotel and all breads and desserts are freshly baked in the hotel kitchen.
If you would rather a full lunch in the restaurant (Monday-Saturday) this is also possible if you give us a call, we can arrange it with you for a special family occasion or private lunch party, for groups of 10 or more.


Dinner is served in the evening from 6-8.30pm, last orders are at 8pm on Sunday night. We run a set 3 course menu which has extra a la carte options with supplements, these change daily, depending on what’s available locally and in season. Please let us know if you have special dietary requirements and we will be happy to chat with you on this. We enjoy cooking, and are lucky to have such a variety of local and artisan produce with zero air miles to cook with. Katy has a lot of recipes from her father’s kitchen in Lahinch, where her parents, Eamonn and Rita Vaughan owned Mr. Eamonn’s famous restaurant for many years. We are privileged to have a rosette for our food from the AA annually since 2006, and to be recommended by the Bridgestone guides and Georgina Campbell’s Jameson Guide.

We also have an interesting wine list with many different old and new world choices all from small vineyards, advice is also available to help you choose a wine to compliment your food.
